This site contains images from my personal collection of documents related to the development, creation and evolution of the Walt Disney theme parks. It also includes documents related to the 1939 and 1964 World's Fairs which had a significant impact on the design of, and attractions in, the parks. Also available are documents with optimistic views of the future from the 1940s-1980s.
This site is for archival and research purposes only.
The unifying theme of the collection is how Walt and other visionaries imagined life in the future could be as technological progress created efficient, clean, and streamlined cities.

I have always been a fan of Disneyland and Walt Disney World but over the last decade my passion has become focused on two specific areas 1) attractions built around Walt's vision of the future (many of which are no longer around) and 2) attractions that were never built.

As a born collector -- comic books as a kid, James Bond 1st editions as a young adult, historical signed letters in my mid-30s - I always find it rewarding to share my collection(s) with fellow collectors and it was other Disney enthusiasts who inspired me to create this site. I hope you enjoy.
